Welcome to Bump n Beyond. I am so happy that you are here. My name is Jamaica Rich. I was born and raised here in sunny San Diego. I became a doula in 2021 while waiting for the arrival of my son. After he was born I eager to jump in and supporting families. I have supported many families, from military to San Diego natives. It has been a whirlwind. Supporting families by educating, labor support, or even completing a task is what I enjoy doing. I also do placenta encapsulation which has been another rewarding thing I do. Being a resource and support for people is my passion. As a doula, I am someone who checks in on families beyond pregnancy and birth. Building community is important to me because parenting is a lifelong journey. Having people who support you really drives long, happy, and healthy lives. Outside of being a birth worker, I am a mother of two. My high school sweetheart and I have two beautiful boys! We enjoy being out in the nature or finding a yummy bite to eat.
