I’m passionate about providing safe, informed, and empowering care to all birthing parents during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Being a mother of eight myself, I realize how crucial professional care during pregnancy, birth and postpartum period is. Having experienced many things as it relates to pregnancy and birth, I feel it is my mission to ensure that individuals birthing have the most optimal birthing experience possible. I have been a doula for more than 10 years. My goal is that every mother feels grounded, nourished, empowered and ready to take on motherhood! My philosophy of birth is that it is designed to be a normal, natural process that your body was perfectly made to experience. I am certified with the American Red Cross in Adult, Child & Infant CPR , as well as by the California department of public health as a nursing assistant. I'm currently assigned to the labor and delivery and postpartum department of a local hospital. I have had advanced doula training with education complimentary to doula work. I am also a Childbirth educator and certified mental health coach. I have a various assortment of skills, experiences, and credentials which when compiled together, dedicated to God, and offered to birthing women, make me a valuable sister to link arms with.
