Hi there! I'm Katherine Clare. I’m a doula, mom, and homeschool educator to my five children. I was born and raised in the Midwest, but Jacksonville, Florida has been my home for the past fourteen years. My passion to serve mamas and their babies began at a young age. At eleven years old, I started a decade-long career as a full-time nanny, during which I gained many valuable skills in providing care for newborns and serving moms through the postpartum period. Three years ago I became a doula because I fully believe every mom deserves to feel empowered and have her story honored. I have over seventeen years of birth experience, I am certified in breastfeeding support with the Birth Company, I am a member of DONA International where I trained as a doula, and I am currently completing my birth doula certification with International Doula Institute. Having a background in fitness instruction has given me a unique approach to birth through connecting physical and health aspects to pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
