I’m Chaya! I’m DMV native and mama to two beautiful babies. I moved to FL and began working alongside and studying under some amazing home-birth midwives before returning in 2022. I was a student CPM for 2 years before returning to nursing school in hopes to obtain my CNM and open my very own practice. My goal is to be able to take care of families in the comfort of their own home. I am a full-spectrum doula, placenta encapsulation specialist and educator, birth photographer, and perinatal advocate. I came across being a birth worker by accident and couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my life. I believe every person deserves to have an informed and autonomous birth no matter the route they take. Advocacy is the heart of doula work, and it lights the fire under me to continue in this field. I have attended over 200 births in the last few years as both a doula and student midwife. I specialize in natural intrinsic birth but support all avenues and guide mothers through the path that resonates with them. Every client I have served has turned into a close and loving friendship. I make sure that mutual safeness and likeness is at the forefront of my support so you can confide, trust, and rely on me in the most sacred of times.
