Marlisa Greene
Hey there! I’m Marlisa (Lisa) Greene, a Labor & Delivery Doula, Postpartum Doula, and a Placenta Arts Specialist. My hobbies include painting, baking, and gardening. I was born and raised in Broward County by my HUGE Bahamian family. In 2017, I started my collegiate career at Florida A&M University graduate. I graduated with a A.A. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in Dec 2019 and a B.S. in Allied Health Sciences in April 2021. Shortly after graduating, I began continuing my education, including birth worker trainings. As of March 2023, I became a certified Labor and Delivery Doula with G.R.O.W Doula and got my second certification with Ruth Kraft of Women Honoring Women Aprill 2023. In August of 2023, I became a certified Postpartum Doula. I became a doula to serve the underserved, women who look like me. I want to committee myself to something that I am passionate about, but I could also mold, grow, and call my own. I feel called to support women during the most vulnerable and sacred moments of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. I am a natural nurturer; I want to make sure that those around me feel welcomed, safe, loved, and care for. I couldn’t think of any better way to use my gift other than to service birthing women.
