A proud native of Atlanta, GA, Payal is the mother of twin girls, Nadia and Miraya. She is a postpartum doula as well as a childbirth and new parent educator who is committed to making her community a better place for children. She integrates her background in psychology and as a former educator and experiences as a bicultural child with her passion for research and promoting healthy infant, child, and adolescent development. Her work, and education, focuses on the psychology of attachment as it relates to psycho-social development.
