What I like the most about being a doula is being able to assist women and their par during the birth of their baby. My least of likes in the doula world is not always being seen as an asset in the healthcare industry by other medical professionals. It’s challenging being a doula with limited financial resources and sometimes little to no pay for the services you provide.
