I’m Sarah Jones. A Christian, wife, mother of five, and passionate birth worker. I’ve had four hospital births (one unmedicated with midwives), one natural birth center birth. If I could go back and change one thing when I was preparing for my first birth, it would be my choice of birth education. While most hospitals offer birth classes none of them actually prepare you for labor and birth. Honestly the only way to know what birth will be like for you is to experience it. However, there is much you can do to educate yourself, so that you can make the right choices for your birth and baby. I took an amazing childbirth education class during my fourth pregnancy that set me on the path to being a doula and childbirth educator. Now as a ProDoula Certified Doula I have the training to confidently support all types of birth, including hospital birth, cesarean birth, birth center birth, and homebirth.
